We are Kid-A.
A multi-award-winning disruptive consultancy & managed services business working within the telecommunications industry. We are also the first UK telecommunications consultancy to achieve Certified B Corporation® status - which means a lot to us.
Working from our HQ in Winchester, Hampshire UK, with unparalleled experience in telecoms, distribution & consumer electronics, we help our partners solve problems, drive performance, design & deliver strategies whilst maintaining a unique ‘sound & vision’ that is all our own.
We are optimistic, diverse, creative, open-minded and disciplined - we strive to be the best of the best to deliver an incredible social experience whilst being neutral with our collective impact on the planet.
We love humans, we love our environment and if you’d not already guessed we love pop culture, movies, and music.
Track 2 - Block Rockin B’s
We aim to be the best at what we do, the best place to work and the best company to work with – and it shouldn’t cost our planet a ruddy thing!
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
The SBTi defines and promotes best practice in science-based target setting and independently assesses targets, enabling companies like ours to take ambitious corporate climate action.
More than 4000 businesses are working with a clearly-defined path to reduce emissions in line with the Paris Agreement goals - limiting global warming to well-below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursuing efforts to limit warming to 1.5°C.
B Corp™ is a movement that began to harness the power of business as a positive force for all. B Lab is the non-profit network that supports the growth and collective vision of transforming the global economy toward a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative system.

We are over the moon that Kid-A has been verified with SBTi, and have committed to:
Reduce scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 from our 2022 base year, and to measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions.
Reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 90% by 2050 from our 2022 base year.
We are chuffed to be joining forces and making our Net Zero commitments a reality.

Track 3 - The names have been changed
Kid-A is indeed the name of the fourth (and seminal) Radiohead album, which is considered one of the greatest left turns in musical history. At the time of releasing the album into the world, Oxfordshire’s finest had shared that they were bored of the norm. Other musicians were starting to copy their sound (can you blame them?) and they wanted change things up with their future records.
We don’t like to be put in a box either! It was in this spirit that we set out to create a different kind of business. Everyone at Kid-A loves music (it’s kind of a prerequisite) and we found that if a band (or a group of visionaries, geniuses & mad scientists in our opinion) can have the bravery and determination to buck the trend, change what they do and keep their audience guessing, then we could do the same. It doesn’t just have to be in music and other artforms where wonderful things get created.
So, after years spent working tirelessly in different circles, corporates & start-ups we wanted to set up shop on our own and really try creating our own sound. We want to be different, free, honest, impactful, purposeful & leave people with the sense of “What the hell did I just hear” (which is what we did when we first heard the record).
We want to be different, change the way things are done, apply corkscrew thinking, be mad scientists and really help our partners “skate to where the puck is going to be”. It was time to create something different and Kid-A (us, not the album) is that something.
Track 4 - Friends with benefits
We work closely with a bunch of incredible partners across many industries, but we want to call out several different charities and non-profits that do incredible things for our species and the planet. We love them and helping them is a joy for all of us.
If you want to help as well, that’s awesome, just ping us an email and you can start immediately - no notice period or anything…
Track 5 - Bragging rights
It’s not really our style to shout from the rafters, but if we really must…
Our awesome band members have done tremendous things, so much so that we have had our sound recognised on the world stage!! See our trophy cabinet – we’re quite proud of it! We are also incredibly proud of our Certified B Corporation® status (not sure if we’ve mentioned that yet?) demonstrating our culture, environment and future intention to be a force for good. It’s not all about Benjamin's baby!
Track 6 - Guns for hire
